What size projects does Goldfinch take on?
We focus on mixed-use developments, residential towers, and commercial buildings in the $5M–$150M range. We take on a limited number of projects each year so every site gets the full weight of our attention.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope, but a typical ground-up development runs 18–36 months from feasibility study to handover. We give you an honest timeline at the start and hit it — eighteen consecutive projects delivered on or ahead of schedule.
Do you work outside the Bay Area?
Yes. We are currently active in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York. For projects outside those markets, we partner with local firms under our supervision.
What makes Goldfinch different from other construction firms?
One principal owns your project from first sketch to final walk-through — no handoffs to junior teams. We run our own construction crews (not subcontractors), and we provide a live project dashboard so you have 24/7 visibility into schedule, budget, and quality.
Can you work with our architect?
Absolutely. We offer construction management as well as design-build. If you already have an architect, we will integrate with their team and manage the construction process. If you don't, our in-house architecture team can handle the full design.
What happens after the building is finished?
We hand over a complete documentation packet — every system, every warranty, every maintenance schedule. We also check in at 30 days, 90 days, and 1 year post-handover to address any issues.
